Day One: Cape Town International

Arrive at Cape Town International Airport where you will pick up your hired car and drive to Primi-Royal Boutique Hotel, in Camps Bay.

Your day will be rounded off with a Sunset Cruise out of Cape Town harbor.
Your cruise will take you along the coast, dropping anchor at Clifton Beach to take in the views of Table Mountain, The Twelve Apostles, white sandy beaches, and the magnificent ocean with the sun dipping into the horizon, while sipping a glass of champagne.

Evening at leisure for you to make your choice from the many resturants on Camps Bay Beachfront, all in walking distance.

Day Two Peninsula Tour

After breakfast, depart with your map and information provided, on a tour of the Peninsula.  Starting at the little fishing village of Hout Bay. Here you will board a boat for a trip to Duiker Island, the playground of a colony of bachelor seals, truly delightful to watch. From Hout Bay you will take a drive along the scenic Chapman’s Peak Drive, to enjoy Cape Town’s most spectacular coastal drives, towards Cape Point, stopping along the way at Boulders Beach to see the Penguins and to enjoy lunch.

At the end of the day return you to your hotel to enjoy the evening at leisure.

Day Three Table Mountain and Kirstenbosch

An early morning rise to catch the Cable Car to enjoy the views and excitements of being on top of the largest table in the world, Table Mountain.
Spend about an hour exploring the top of the mountain before decending in the cable car to the parking area where you left your rented car.

Make your way to Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens – walk around this magnificent garden, nestled on the slopes of Devil’s Peak and a beautiful environment to enjoy lunch. After your walk around the floral kingdom spend the rest of your day at leisure.

Day Four Robben Island and The Waterfront

After breakfast, make your way to the Nelson Mandela Gateway, at the Waterfront, from where you take your boat trip to Robben Island – an icon of the struggle in South Africa for the freedom of its people where Nelson Mandela and hundreds of other political prisoners were held for many years. A boat cruise, guided prison and island tour will take 3½ hours.

You will return to the Waterfront, spend the rest of the day exploring the Waterfront with a suggested stop at the Two Oceans Aquarium, the largest aquarium in South Africa.

A suggestion for end of day relaxing drinks would have to be Bascule Whiskey Bar at The Cape Grace Hotel. Dinner can be enjoyed at one of the many Waterfront Resturants.

Day Five Franschhoek and the Cape Winelands

After breakfast, depart at around 09H00 for your winelands tour. Your tour will start at KWV Wine Co-op in Paarl for a cellar tour. You will then make your way through the winelands to Franschhoek – a small town filled with French influence, as can be seen in the architecture and tasted in the area’s wonderful cuisine and wines.

Enjoy lunch and a cheese tasting at Le Grange Restaurant and fromagerie.

The rest of the day will be devoted to wine tasting at Boschendal Wine Estate and Homestead and Sylvanvale Wine Estate.

At the end of the day sundowners can be enjoyed in the gardens at Spier Wine Estate before dinner is served in the form of an African Buffet - it truely is an exciting dining experience, African Style.

Day Six  Relaxation

This day is dedicated to pure relaxation, a day at leisure to explore our white beaches or fine markets for shopping.

Day Seven Victoria Falls, Zambia

Check out of your hotel and settle any outstanding bills. Drive to Cape Town International airport for your flight to Johannesburg, where you will catch your connecting flight to Zambia. At Livingstone Airport you will be met and transferred to Thorntree River Lodge for your two night Victoria Falls experience, on a bed, Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner basis.

End your day with a Sunset Cruise down the Zambezi River viewing Hippo, Crocodile & Elephant while drinking sundowners before returning to the lodge for dinner.

Day Eight Victoria Falls

There are many acivities to choose from, but most importantly is to view and experience the thundering Victoria Falls.

Activities:

Thorntree River Lodge is home of the elephants. Discover the beauty of the Zambezi River atop an African Elephant. Safari's are conducted early morning or late afternoon. The possibility of spotting game is enhanced from your elevated position on this magnificent creature. After your ride you will be encouraged to interact with your elephant. An experience not to be missed.

Victoria Falls and the mighty Zambezi River are home to a multitude of adventure acitivites including:

  • Helicopter over Victoria Falls

  • Canoe Safaris
  • Bungi Jumping

Day Nine - Day Twelve Kwando

After breakfast you will be collected from your hotel for a road transfer to Kasane Airport, for your charter flight to Kwando Lagoon Camp. Here you will spend the next four nights.

Morning and night game drives are conducted by specialist guides and trackers in open safari vehicles.
This area is home to huge herds of elephants and buffalo. There are few places in Africa where such concentrated numbers of these animals exist, especially in the dry season.

Boat cruises along the kwando River provide excellent opportunities for birding. Also on offer is specialist fly-fishing and spinner fishing for Tiger fish and Bream. Some excellent catches have been made by Kwando guests. Lagoon’s complement of staff are there to lookafter you quietly and efficiently, so as to ensure a relaxing and peaceful stay.There is a guest pool in which to cool off during the hot months. Freshly prepared delicious meals are served in the thatched dining room overlooking the tranquil waters of the lagoon.

Day Thirteen – Day Fourteen Depart Kwando for Tubu Tree

After your morning game drive and breakfast your charter plane will be waiting for you on the airstrip to fly you to Tubu Tree in the Okavango Delta, where you will be spending the next two nights with all meals and game drives included

Day Fifteen Depart Tubu Tree for Journey Home

After your morning game drive or walk and breakfast your ranger will transfer you to the airstrip for your charter to Maun Airport, for your flight back to South Africa – to catch a connecting flight back home.

Damaraland is one of the most scenic areas in Namibia, prehistoric water courses with open plains and grassland, massive granite koppies and distant mountains create the landscape. Game species include desert elephant, black rhino, ostrich and springbok.

Day 12 - Day 13 Etosha Game Reserve
One of Africa's most intriguing wildlife sanctuaries.

A narrow protrusion of Namibia eastwards about 450 km (280 miles), between Botswana on the south, Angola and Zambia to the north, and Okavango Region to the west. Caprivi is bordered by the Okavango, Kwando, Chobe and Zambezi rivers.
The area is rich in wildlife, within Namibia the Caprivi Strip provides significant habitat for the critically endangered Wild African Dog.
