SOUTHERN AFRICA SAFARI, INCLUDING NAMIBIA

Day One    Arrive Namibia

On arrival at Windhoek International airport you will be met by a Finest Africa representative and transferred to Eros airport for your charter flight to Sossusvlei.
You will spend the next two nights on a fully inclusive basis at &Beyond Sossusvlei Desert Camp.
Sossusvlei Desert Reserve is set in the far northern part of the NamibRand Nature Reserve in Namibia, a vast area of over 180 000 hectares (444 800 acres) that lies between the endless dune fields of the Namib Desert and the jagged mountains of the escarpment. Offering an experience that encompasses both sandy dunes and rocky outcrops, guests to the NamibRand are guaranteed to view a variety of desert habitats.

The Lodge is surrounded by rocky outcrops that form the foothills of the Nubib Mountains, which are visible to the east. A variety of different rock types occur in the area, creating spectacular formations with different textures and colours as far as the eye can see. Vast plains and valley floors extend to the south of the Lodge, where caves and petrified dunes created from sandstone can be viewed. Further south lie vast stretches of distinctive red sand dunes, extending for thousands of square kilometres into the heart of the Namib. Whether rocky hillside, sandy plain, dry river bed or sand dune, each of the habitats found around the Lodge form a home for characteristic plants and animals.

Day Two    Sossusvlei

Spend the day exploring the deserts and dunes with your ranger and relax in the pool during the heat of the day.

Day Three    Skeleton Coast Wing Safari: Accommodation tented, rustic.

After breakfast your ranger will transfer you to the airstrip for your light aircraft departure to the Skeleton Coast via Conception Bay.
The Kuiseb canyon and adjoining red dunes are a spectacular view from the air. The flight includes an aerial view of the famous Eduard Bohlen shipwreck at Conception Bay.
After landing and refuelling at Swakopmund, continue with a low-level flight north along the Skeleton Coast past the seal colony at Cape Cross for a light picnic lunch near the beach. After lunch cross the desert by aircraft to the Ugab formations, a nearly lifeless ‘moon landscape' of numerous black ridges in stark contrast to the white desert floor. From here proceed to Kuidas camp in the Huab River Valley where you stay for the night. Ancient rock engravings are found amongst the rocks within walking distance of the camp.

Day Four    Skeleton Coast Wing Safari: Accommodation tented, rustic

After breakfast depart by Land Rover to explore the colourful red lava and yellow sandstone of the Huab River environs and to be introduced to the ecological aspects of this area with its wide diversity of flora and fauna. This includes the Welwitschia Mirabilis, a tree that has been dwarfed by the rigours of the encroaching desert climate. Lunch at Kuidas camp before flying along the coast to Terrace Bay in the Skeleton Coast Park. The most prominent shipwrecks along this part of the coast are the Montrose and Henrietta.

At the coast access the roaring dunes by Land Rover, which always proves to be a stimulating experience. Also visit the beach with its profusion of multi-coloured pebbles consisting of agate, lava, granite and quartz. Interesting to see are old bleached whale bones scattered along the beach above the high tide mark. Return to the aircraft and continue north to our Purros camp in the Hoarusib Valley in the Kunene Region, where you stay for the night.

Day Five     Skeleton Coast Safari: Accommodation tented, rustic

After breakfast embark on a scenic drive along the Hoarusib Valley to visit a settlement of the nomadic Himba people. You might be lucky enough to come across the desert-dwelling elephant who frequent this valley. From here continue north along the Skeleton Coast by aircraft to the Kunene River acting as a border to Angola. The Kaiu Maru shipwreck and pieces from old sailing vessels lie scattered along this part of the coast. From the airfield take a scenic drive by Land Rover to our favourite lunch site. After lunch continue through the mountains and dunes of the Hartmann Valley - which extends to the Kunene River - reaching our Kunene River camp in the late afternoon.

Day Six     End Skeleton Coast Safari. Windhoek

An early morning boat trip on the Kunene River as it flows through scenic desert landscape, observing bird life and possibly some crocodiles. Birds vary from aquatic species on the perennial waters, to endemic desert varieties and those that inhabit dense riverine vegetation. After lunch at the camp, fly back to Eros Airport, Windhoek, arriving in the late afternoon.

On arrival at Eros Airport a Finest Africa Representative will meet you and transfer you to Terra Africa Guesthouse. Here you will spend 1 night on a Bed & Breakfast Basis. Dinner can be enjoyed at your guesthouse or at a restaurant close-by.

Day Seven    Flight to Maun, Botswana

After breakfast you will be transferred to Windhoek International Airport for your flight to Maun in Botswana. At Maun airport you will board a charter flight to the Okavango Delta. You will spend the next 4 nights at Tubu Tree on a fully inclusive basis.
Your day will finish with High Tea before going on your evening game activity. You will return to the lodge for your dinner under the stars.

Day Eight to Ten     Tubu Tree, Okavango Delta

Each day you will start with an early morning game activity. A scrumptious breakfast will await your return. Spend the rest of the day relaxing by the pool, reading a book before debarking on your evening game activity preceded by high tea. Return to the lodge for dinner before retiring to bed after a full day of exploring this incredible wilderness by boat and LandRover.

Day Eleven    Victoria Falls, Zambia

After your morning game activity and breakfast you will be transferred to the airstrip for your charter to Kasane. At Kasane you will be met by a Finest Africa Representative who will transfer you by road to Tongabezi Lodge on the Zambezi River. You will spend the next 2 days exploring the Victoria Falls. Finish the day with a sundowner cruise on the Zambezi river, all inclusive.

Day Twelve    Tongabezi Lodge

There is so much to see and do in the Victoria Falls area, your private valet will go through all your options of activities included.
Please visit Tongabezi Lodge website for more details on this magnificent place. Quote based on stay in a River Cottage.

Rose gold, for example, is a very "now" choice for case rolex replica uk metal. Seeing all the incredible rose gold models rolling out from everyone from Audemars Piguet to Omega, I started wondering replica watches sale what a nice dress watch of that hue would look like on my wrist. As such, the rose gold Orient Symphony FER27002B0 rolex replica looked both refined and bold when I wore it, garnering curiosity and compliments from fellow watch nerds rocking Sinns and Speedmasters. The pink index markers against the slightly rolex replica iridescent deep black dial added both legibility and an elegant look. The black accents made the Orient Symphony something I could wear rolex replica with a tux or more formal suit; that the date window is beveled in rose gold is a nice detail-oriented, luxe touch. If anything, this Orient Symphony rolex replica sale nicely recalls, say, a vintage Rolex Bombe as a design reference; however, the nicely finished 41mm case, which wears even a little bigger with the minimal dial, simple bezel, and rolex replica sale polished surfaces, felt suitable for modern tastes.
